
An awareness lecture was delivered at the In’ash Al-Usra Association, attended by 40 participants interested in health and awareness-related topics.
The lecture covered two main topics: skin cancer and cervical cancer. Each condition was explained in detail in terms of causes, risk factors, and methods of prevention, in addition to the importance of early detection in reducing complications and increasing recovery rates. Early warning signs for each condition were also discussed, along with the importance of not ignoring any unusual symptoms.
This event was held in collaboration between the Mariam Foundation for Cancer Care and the Palestinian Dermatology Association, as part of joint efforts to promote health awareness and spread preventive culture within the community.
The lecture included interactive discussions and questions from the participants, creating an open space for dialogue and knowledge exchange, and helping to clarify many medical concepts related to the topics.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Wadih Qaqandeh, Dr. Tarek Muallim, and Dr. Asid Al-Shaib, who enriched the session with their valuable knowledge and expertise.
